This set contains the classic album 'A Good Git Together' and excerpts from 'Evolution of The Blues Song'. Guest stars include, Jimmy Witherspoon, Ben Webster, Cannonball Adderley and Wes Montgomery.

    Lambert, Hendricks and Ross' first two albums are available on the Jasmine CD 'Sing a Song Of / Along With Basie' and their next four albums are available on Jasmine CD 'Hopelessly Hip!', which makes up all the albums recorded before Annie Ross left the group in 1962.
