Lee Dewyze is a singer-songwriter who was the 2010 winner of American Idol. Unlike most American Idol winners, Lee already had a career as a performer prior to winning. As a result he was able to continue his recording career with Vanguard Records after his Idol moment. His creation "Blackbird Song" was featured in an episode of the popular television series The Walking Dead and he has appeared as an actor in such horror films as Circling The Drain and Deadscapes: Broken Road.
Oil & Water is an intimate, evocative all-original album in the vein of his heroes Simon & Garfunkel and Jackson Browne.
With many acoustic elements laced with discreet touches of electronic effects and electric instruments, Oil & Water is Lee's most personal and authentic artistic statement to date. -
