Any band that stays together for over 30 years must be doing something right. That can certainly be said of Virginia’s Lost & Found, which just celebrated its 30th Anniversary with Rebel Records in 2010. The fact is the group has done a lot of things right: selecting excellent material to record, filling open slots in the band with outstanding musicians and most of all presenting a warm, entertaining show that leaves listeners wanting more. From the earliest days with Gene Parker, Roger Handy and Bubba Chandler to the present, there are superior cuts of this well-traveled band that was anchored by Allen Mills and the late Dempsey Young. A fine representation of what this group is all about.
