Orbits', the new album by pianist Paolo Di Sabatino: in the new album the jazz and melody meet the most electro sounds, the result of sound research of his brother Luca, aka Ben Dover; two seemingly parallel worlds meet in a musical journey with a strong emotional impact. Appreciated internationally as one of the most versatile pianists and composers in jazz landscape, Di Sabatino has always shown a strong interest in new sounds. The chord progressions, melodic lines enjoyable and singable typical of Paul's jazz compositions, revised by Ben Dover, lead towards a digital vision, and analog electronics, which make 'Orbits' an interesting and unexpected result. The album consists of nine tracks: Each track is named after a planet, a musical journey that wants to bring the listener to discover new sounds, spaces populated by unusual sounds unusual harmonies in jazz and electronics. -
