Voted best Zydeco band multiple times by Real Blues Magazine, it’s hard to resist this band’s raucous and relentless energy. At age 57, Roy is regarded across Louisiana as THE elder statesman of blues based Zydeco. He began playing house parties with his father in Southwest Louisiana when he was only six years old and is now the patriarch of an extended family of Zydeco musicians that includes his two sons, Chubby and Troy (a.k.a. Dikki Du).
