Recorded in 2014, this is a program of works for piano by Syzmanowski performed by Sang Mi Chung.
Karol Szymanowski (1882-1937) was the most celebrated Polish composer of the early 20th century. He is counted as a member of the modernist movement Young Poland. This recording includes the Mazurkas Op. 50, No. 1 - 7, 11 - 15, 17, 19, composed between 1924 and 1925, and his Sonata No. 1, Op. 8.
