Description
Originally from New York City, Tad Robinson performed in Chicago clubs from 1982 to 1998, since when he's been based in Indiana. Vocally he is of a style that would have been called 'blue-eyed soul' back in the '60s; musically he performs a mix of soul, R&B and blues tunes. Five of the 11 tracks here are originals, others are songs first associated with performers such as Jimmy McCracklin, Little Willie John and Robert Ward. Guests include renowned horn chart arranger Willie Henderson and soul/blues singer Otis Clay. -
