Description
Texum originate from the rural town of Oppdal, situated in the sparsely populated countryside of Norway. Building their music on the American singer-songwriter tradition they draw inspiration from the No Depression-generation of new country musicians as well as from contemporary rock, vintage soul, blues and country music. This album was produced and recorded by guitarist Dag Håvimb at an old town hall, assisted by rising-star producer Pål Brekkås and lead singer Bård Sande.. The record was mixed by Chris Shepard (Wilco, Elvis Costello, Smashing Pumpkins) and mastered by Danny Leake (Stevie Wonder, Tom Waits).
