The Oslo based trio The Last James was formed in the early ninties and featured three norwegian songwriters, Lars Pedersen (When, Holy Toy), Lars Lillo Stenberg (DeLillos) and Haakon Ellingsen (solo artist, When). The Last James' starting point was melodic pop music, inspired by 60s bands such as the Beach Boys. three songwriters and three singers trading equally on both songs and vocal duties on the album The Last James, which came out originally in 1993. Now reissued on vinyl for the first time.
