Description
The music contained on this CD is among the most significant pieces of British Jazz history to have been discovered in a long long time.
This first time ever release unearths a studio session which has lain forgotten since 1959 and which significantly is an addendum to what has been long seen as Tubby's first masterpiece Tubby's Groove.
Tubbs is aided and abetted by the same musicians with Terry Shannon playing piano, Jeff Clyne on bass and the long lamented Phil Seamen adding his very special prodding and pushing percussion skills.
Half a century later Tubby's immense talent still stuns listeners who can continue to marvel at his immense musicianship and creative charisma.
