Larry Sparks is an exceptionally gifted musician. Since he began his career in 1963 with the legendary Stanley Brothers, Larry has worked to create a sound that is uniquely his. His blues inflected guitar playing and soulful singing are ear catching to even the most casual Bluegrass fan. Larry tours year 'round, playing at least a hundred dates a year, consistently packing the house, and often playing the same venue two or three times a year….strong testimony to this man's enduring popularity. The Coldest Part Of Winter shows that Larry Spark's music is still as vibrant and innovative as it was 30 years ago. -
