Description
Mark Newton has left his print on bluegrass music. His early work with The Knoxville Grass, The Virginia Squires and banjo legend Bill Emerson had a profound influence on the development of today's contemporary bluegrass. He's released several solo albums including one that won the IBMA's Recorded Event of the Year in 2001 and has enjoyed great success on bluegrass radio. With two previous releases under its belt, The Mark Newton Band brings us HILLBILLY HEMINGWAY. Produced by Grammy winner Carl Jackson, this new disc reveals a band and their leader at their creative peak.
