Two of the nations most prolific and in demand songwriter – guitarists, label mates and musical friends come together for their first release as a duo. Last Man Standing is a five song EP of brand new songs written by Scotland's Kris Drever (Lau) and Boo Hewerdine (Eddi Reader, The Bible) recorded in London with Jon Kelly.
Connected through song for almost a decade , when Kris approached Boo about recording the song "Harvest Gypsies" as part of his classic debut album "Black Water". That recording lead the pair to live collaborations and a tour with Eddi Reader. Last Man Standing was recording in Spring 2015 and features all new material delivered with beautifully spare acoustic arrangements and compelling lyricism.
