Over two years in the making, 'MelloWonder/Songs in the Key of Stevie' separates NY Native Pianist Bob Baldwin from the rest of the pack, unleashing a full-throttled 14-song Stevie Wonder lovefest from his own fingertips. Paying tribute to his childhood idol, he's joined by Marion Meadows (sax), U-Nam (guitar), Chieli Minucci (guitar), Ragan Whiteside (flute), Toni Redd and Stanley Thompson (vocals), and Stevie tour sideman Ryan Kilgore (sax). "It was a mission to find 14 songs that flowed well and translated to the piano and keyboard. Stevie's chords and harmony are the deepest in the biz - played incorrectly, it's like nails on the chalkboard. I feel this is one of my best arrangement works to date".
