Singer, songwriter and slide guitar player Rachelle van Zanten is turning the heads of the music industry folk. Her charismatic stage presence and fine guitar licks and stellar slide playing have seen her share the stage with the likes of Ry Cooder collaborator, Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, and blues guitarist Sue Foley. The stunning debut solo album from the former member of the Canadian rock quartet, Painting Daisies, is packed with funky blues riffs and country soul.
