Guitarist Nate Radley has been an important member of the NY jazz scene since 2004 when he moved there to study a master's degree in music at the New England Conservatory. On 'Carillon' he presents a highly personal music style both as performer and composer. His quartet includes saxophonist Chris Cheek and they perform six Radley originals plus songs by Thelonious Monk, Cole Porter and David Raksin.Nate Radley has recorded on over 20 albums including previous impressive appearances on SteepleChase, such as Eric Rasmussen's 'School of Tristano' albums, as well as on Andrew Rathbun's 'Where We Are Now'.
