Back in the 60s, Cardiff schoolgirl Heather Jones, with her striking voice, made quite an impression on the thriving Welsh music scene. Her early recordings introduced a new standard in recording Welsh music and as a talented composer she had the ability to convey her personal experiences with an intense candour. Today, her voice is as inimitable and pure as it was when she started her singing career, and her unique blend of folk and rock, together with a style of singing which emanates from a warm, witty and positive personality, still captivates audiences at home and beyond.
