English-born guitarist Albert Lee is world-renowned as one of the all-time great country pickers. His unique style influenced an array of famous guitarists who followed in his distinctive footsteps - including Vince Gill and Brad Paisley among them. In addition to his solo acclaim and incredible array of sideman gigs, Lee's tenure in Emmylou Harris' Hot Band and the indelible mark left by his seminal work "Country Boy" mark the accomplished English guitarist's legacy as legendary. Lee's new album Road Runner - the follow-up to his Grammy-nominated album Heartbreak Hill - embodies his distinctly unmatched abilities performing songs by Leo Kottke, Jimmy Webb, Delbert McClinton and Richard Thompson, among others.
