Silence started in 1970 by releasing this by now classic album - Bo Hansson's "Lord of the Rings". It gave Silence a flying start and Bo Hansson a worldwide reputation, since the album was released worldwide and sold thousands and thousands and climbed the charts.
This new issue is a nice Digipac with a 16 pages booklet with an updated Bo Hansson Story in English and pictures from the recording sessions. The producer and sound guru Anders Lind got the question if he wanted to re-master the music he recorded nearly 50 years ago. He listened carefully and came to the conclusion that it sounds just as it should and need no re-mastering.
This old masterpiece is still as beautiful as ever and continues to inspires musicians all over the world and get new and young listeners all the time.
