Alhousseini Anivolla is a superb guitarist, whose distinctive style is rooted in the spirit of the desert blues. He has produced an album of original compositions featuring his captivating and distinctive guitar riffs combined with sensitive vocals and percussion. On 'Anewal / The Walking Man' he pays tribute to his ancestral elders and his Tuareg community, it is a musical diary of his personal journey from the desert, to the city, to the world stage and back again. Recorded in Niger, this album has an otherworldly feel which reflects the nomadic way of life in the Saharan desert.
