Description

The three musicians from St. Gallen, Josquin Rosset (piano), Gabriel Meyer (bass) and Jan Geiger (drums) have been successfully working as a working band for 20 years: their first album "What Happened" received the gold medal for 2010 in Japan the best instrumental jazz album, became a bestseller on Unit Records and had to be re-pressed three times. "Trialogue", the second album, was also re-pressed several times in 2013. This was followed by appearances at the Suisse Diagonales Jazz (2013), a nomination for the ZKB Jazz Prize (2013) and a Carte Blanche series by the Gambrinus Jazz Plus St. Gallen (2015/16). The third album "Drü" took Rosset Meyer Geiger on tour through Japan in September 2016.

Rosset Meyer Geiger presented a selection from these first successful albums in 2017 in the famous chamber music hall of the Beethoven House in Bonn, a location that is the first address for musicians and chamber music fans alike. The concert was recorded by Radio Deutschlandfunk and broadcast several times. And now this concert recording is also available as a live album, with a best-of of the pieces presented, or also: with the quintessence of Rosset Meyer Geiger.
