Healing is an amazing set of roots reggae and rub-a-dub music, showcasing the great voice of one of the best Jamaican singers and songwriters of all times, over some sharp and stunning riddims recorded and produced during the early 80?s at Channel One Studio by the ace reggae producer and singer Linval Thompson in Kingston, Jamaica. Yami Bolo grew up in Kingston and had his greatest success working with Augustus Pablo in the late 1980s, on singles such as "Struggle in Babylon". In 1994, Bolo earned international acclaim for his collaboration with Japanese reggae performer, Kazafumi Mizayawa (Miya). Their Love Is Dangerous album sold 500,000 units in Japan. He contributed to Damian Marley's 2001 Grammy Award winning album Halfway Tree and he has collaborated with some of reggae's most prominent artists and producers; including Linval Thompson, Damian Marley, Tenor Saw, Sugar Minott, Capleton, Tapper Zukie, Sly & Robbie, and King Jammy?s Studios.
