Leeds-based punk rockers Brawlers have signed with Alcopop! for their upcoming EP titled 'I Am A Worthless Piece of Shit' Having formed over the Summer of 2013, Brawlers feature current and ex-members of bands as diverse as Dinosaur Pile-Up, Leftover Crack, Castrovalva and Martyr Defiled. With only a handful of gigs under their belt, including a short run with LA Shark and supports for No Age, The Icarus Line, Gnarwolves and more, the band's reputation for raucous live shows has already gained them a loyal following and much media support. Comments frontman Harry George Johns: "Brawlers was an itch we all felt we had to scratch. We wanted to do something fresh, sing about how stupid/rad stuff is on the internet (check the song 'Instagram Famous') and be a bit dangerous." Written about the self-obsessed state of current youth, 'Instagram Famous' is currently featured on Rock Sound magazine's January covermount.
