This all-instrumental release featuring Steve on the pedal steel guitar was recorded in Vancouver over the same 5-day stretch as the companion album “Waiting For the Lights To Come Up�, in the same studio with the same all-star backing band that includes Chris Gestrin (K-OS, Randy Bachman) on keyboards, Keith Lowe (Bill Frisell, Fiona Apple) on bass and Scott Amendola (Charlie Hunter, T.J. Kirk, Nels Cline, Madeline Peyroux) on drums. Steve received a Canada Council grant in 2006 to study the pedal steel with the world-renowned Greg Leisz. This recording is the result.
