As the songwriter, singer and guitar player of Skull Fist, Zach Slaughter's last album release was not only nominated for a Juno award for "best hard rock metal album" but was also featured in popular movies, television shows and ommercials.

His music has won several rock/metal magazine awards and has taken him around the entire planet many times over with touring and has shared the stage with the biggest names in rock and metal.

Zach's brand new project "Freedumb" will see similar efforts in a harder musical style which includes punk, acoustic, doom and traditional metal all combined with a cheeky sense of humour and a large amount of visual content.

Living in Toronto and recording every instrument himself Freedumb's "Skate n Die" will be the first album to include such a wide range of musical styles and humorous content.

Freedumb's debut release unleashes 9 tracks of high energy punk in the vein of Lagwagon, Dead Kennedys, Minor Threat, trademarked with the unique vocal style of Zach Slaughter along with metal elements and virtuoso style guitar solos, plus the lyrical the humour of NOFX meets Frank Zappa.
