This original Studio One Riddim (Burning Spear's Rocking Time) played by Mafia & Fluxy and mixed by Gussie P was the first recut riddim on the Irie Ites label. The pre-release single by Turbulence & Spectacular (released May 2006) reached the top positions in reggae charts in England, Germany and France. By massive demand, Irie Ites decided to record more artists on the Riddim, such as Chezidek, Perfect, Lutan Fyah and also Suga Roy & Conrad Crystal. The pre-release single Chant was featured on the IRIE FM playlists in the weeks that the Irie Ites crew hit Jamaica so all artists they approached knew the riddim and were very eager to record their version. As the riddim was relicked by Mafia & Fluxy, the idea came to ask Dean Fraser and Buttons to add horn lines to the riddim to approach the original Rocking Time vibes. This riddim is a new step for the label, with a tuff line up of artists featuring Sizzla Kalonji, Fantan Mojah, Lutan Fyah, Perfect, Louie Culture & Malijah, Ras McBean, Lorenzo, Chezidek and Suga Roy & Conrad Crystal. The album is a tribute to Sir Coxsone Dodd, one of the founding fathers of reggae music, throughout his legendary Studio One label.
