Description
In a relatively short time, Ohioan Joe Mullins has established himself and his band The Radio Ramblers as one of the leaders of today's crop of traditional Bluegrass bands. But what may seem like a short time is really more like a lifetime of involvement with the music: the son of a noted fiddler, promoter, and Disc Jockey Paul Mullins, Joe has extended the family's extremely successful track record, adding ownership of several radio stations to the highlights of a unique career. As is usual on his albums, Mullins has brought together another collection of excellent songs, most of which are new to the Bluegrass world. In 2012 Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers Won IBMA's "Emerging Artist of the Year" award. -
