Description
The Sun doesn't shine too much in Leicester, but its warming rays can be felt all over this debut album from The Junipers. This cosmic pop outfit are a breath of fresh air that draw inspiration from the past, present and the future, creating a wall of sound by subtly utilising their collection of antique, primitive and modern instruments. The recorded Junipers is mostly the work of songwriter and founder Joe Wiltshire, who records everything at his own studio, and vocalist Marc Johnston. They have been honing their craft since 2000; in that time they have built their own studio, recorded and given away three demo albums and formed a five piece live band.
