Description
Mezzowave is the work of Sussex based producer and film composer Max Jasper Mezzowave. Mining the cinematic aspects of electronica with a clear dose of earthy soul and featuring the vocal talents of the legendary Angie Brown and Red Snappers Alison David. Max has previously been signed to Mute Records as Comical Brothers (feat Dave Simmons of Fadgadget) and Danny Briottet (Renegade Soundwave Drum and Bass pioneer) and as Chaitanya (which was Championed by Talvin Singh and DJ Pathaan). These projects were released exclusively on vinyl. Since then Max has written music for Sony Computer Ent, Film 4, BBC and Google. He has also remixed Lou Rhodes of Lamb to name just a few. He began work with Angie Brown and Alison David 3 years ago and Who Are You? is the culmination of many years work. Four tracks from the album have been played by Russ Dewbury on Brighton's Juice FM and 'Beauty' one of the album tracks was featured on Living etc magazine and website feature. -
