Description
Following on from the initial spurt of high profile support slots (Snow Patrol, The Ordinary Boys, Stephen Fretwell etc...) and Radio 1 exposure courtesy of one Alan Mcgee, the band entered the studio, with top name producer Steve Power at the helm to set at work on the debut Bauer E.P. What has resulted from these sessions is a cut of 4 songs that showcase many sides to the same band...from the epic, searing Guitar/Synth pop genius of tracks such as "Don't you move" and "Gone" through to the angular, bass pulsating edginess of "Indian sign". The lead track on the E.P, "Connected" is also classic Bauer, condensing everything that is good about the band into a neat nugget of 4 minutes...and with vocalist Greg Matthews the band have a secret weapon - a singer with a truly distinctive voice.
