Description
After many successful record releases in Germany wiith groups like Max.bab, Cyminology and Das Kaktus 6tett, pianist Benedikt Jahnel has recorded his first trio album in New Jersey USA. Two outstanding musicians, who he met during his studies in Berlin and New York, accompany Jahnel on this recording: bass player Antonio Miguel and drummer Owen Howard. The compositions reflect Jahnel's impressions of the city of New York where he lived and worked for two years. The result is a unique mixture of improvisation, songs, rhythmical passages and a lyrical classical piece. -
