Five tracks, all recorded live at the legendary Toe Rag studios in East London by Liam Watson (The White Stripes, The Kills) White Ink features five recordings that beautifully capture the breadth of mood and tone that the ever growing audience has come to expect with the live show. The sonic landscape here is honest and raw. Live recording to tape captures that moment, that feeling. 'Music should be true...' muses Presley 'You have to just play'. '...this is an altogether darker variant of the form, one that finds itself rubbing shoulders in the twisted and twilit worlds of Tom Waits, PJ Harvey and Nick Cave. As exemplified by his two coruscating singles, 'Left' and 'Honeybee', Presley doesn't just sing his songs; he inhabits them and in doing so invites the listener to be complicit in his shadowy tales.'
