Description
OAKMAN is a French based trio with Jessie Gayaud on the drum, Geremia Gayaud on the bass and Marine Lanzillotta on guitar/vocal.
They play emotional popish rock music, navigating between indie-pop and alt-pop with a touch of synthpop. After years of playing tons of gigs and finding the best sound, Oakman will take you over the clouds with their killer melodies, as neat as they are dreamy. Inspired by bands such as The 1975, Now,Now, The Japanese House or Chvrches.
They released a first EP Waterscape in 2016 which allowed them to tour abroad (UK, SCOTLAND and JAPAN). A second EP 'Plastic World' was released in 2018 which allowed them to broaden their horizons even more (USA, ITALY, UK, SCOTLAND) They also played in France and opened for bands like Enter Shikari (Bataclan, Paris), ZZ TOP (P?rouges Fest), Basement (Kao, Lyon), Bukowski (March? Gare, Lyon). Every time they play, the effect is immediate. Their latest EP 'SCP' was released in 2022 via Rude Records.
