Smith is a legend within drum circles having played with acts as diverse as Journey, Steps Ahead, Buddy Rich Big Band, Mariah Carey and Bryan Adams.
His band is made up from some serious players including Santana/Billy Cobham/Rahsaan Roland Kirk keys player Tom Coster, bassist Barron Browne (Billy Cobham, Jean-Luc Ponty, Steps Ahead and Tom Jones) and 'new boy' Vinny Valentino on guitar (Randy Brecker, Bill Evans, John Pattitucci, George Benson, Steve Gadd, Dennis Chambers, and Jimmy McGriff).
The album includes guest appearances from percussion maestro Peter Lockett and sax giant Bill Evans.
