Future Forest

Future Forest is the debut instrumental album from Martin Davies and Marco Thomas (ex Felt). Their previous collaboration was way back in 2002, where they joined forces with Martin Duffy (Primal Scream/Felt) and Gary Ainge (Felt) to release the critically acclaimed 'Put The Needle Down And Fly'. After a chance hearing of an astounding demo by singer/songwriter 'Scott Matthews', Martin and Marco decided to down tools and set up 'Pulse Music Management' and 'San Remo Records' respectively. After a healthy ten years of album releases and tours (Scott's first album achieving silver disc status) they both returned to their first love, writing and recording. A follow up Fly album was in the offing, but it soon became evident that, unlike the Fly debut, the musical direction was less Neu-esque/Kraut and more filmic. 'Future Forest' is the result, a collection of ten compositions all evoking different moods and texture.
